Two blurbs from Salesforce

A couple of blurbs came out of Salesforce.com PR today.

Firstly was the announcement that Salesforce vice president of investor relations David Havlek will be presenting to investors in New York City next Tuesday at the Needham & Company Ninth Annual Growth Stock Conference. The talk is scheduled for 1:30pm Eastern Standard Time and can be heard via webcast on the Salesforce investor relations webpage.

Certain to get at least a cursory mention will be recently-released user satisfaction results from cancer diagnostics specialist firm Dako.

Dako today reported better than 90 percent user satisfaction with the Salesforce.com product in place at the Denmark-based company. Querying sales account managers, the main question “Does Salesforce gives you a good overview of your opportunities?” was answered with “completely agree” or “mostly agree” by over nine out of ten.

Dako has now deployed the multi-tenant CRM solution to staff in 25 countries and in six languages (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese) to replace an existing on-premise CRM implementation. The deployment went live six months ago.

The Salesforce system supports Dako’s sales teams in closing deals among pathologists, hospitals, laboratories, and research institutes.

Dako was founded in 1966 by a Dr. Niels Harboe and is headquartered in Denmark. Dako has manufacturing and research sites in Glostrup, Denmark; Fort Collins, Colo.; and Carpinteria, Calif. Dako employs 1,360 and has subsidiaries in nineteen countries.
