Soffront Concord

Representatives of Soffront Software Inc. today announced that Savaria Concord Lifts Inc. has implemented Soffront CRM as an on-demand application to automate sales and lead distribution. Savaria Concord Lifts provides home elevators, wheelchair lifts and stair chairs.

Formerly known as Concord Elevator, Inc., the company was acquired by Savaria Corporation in 2005. The move doubled Concord’s business volume and thus, as is typical in these sorts of implementation stories, needed a new lead generation system. How badly did they need it? Check out how Savaria Concord Lift marketing manager Ian Clark described the old process: “…leads were manually downloaded from automatically generated .txt files into Microsoft Access and then distributed to the appropriate dealers.” Sheesh. “This process was highly inefficient,” stated Clark. No kidding.

Soffront was happy at Savaria’s announced eschewing of Salesforce.com and Siebel Systems in favor of Soffront CRM; Clark claimed that, as the bigger guys pitched, they had no technology available to deliver a fully functional partner portal: “They said that it would be available within a year, but the price they were quoting was cost-prohibitive.”

Self-billed as a pioneer of CRM since 1992, Soffront offers end-to-end, fully integrated CRM solutions spanning sales, marketing, customer service and employee help desks; the firm’s clientele now exceeds 500. Soffront is a privately-held firm.
