SalesLogix in India

Sage India has announced the launch of Sage CRM SalesLogix software in an effort to aid Indian advertising sales teams at various media houses, including television channels, newspapers and magazines. The software was developed by Firsteservice India and has been successfully deployed at STAR News and Aaj Tak.

The software is designed to assist advertising sales reps manage dealings with media buying agencies and clients. SalesLogix also promises to help establish relationships of various brands and the relevant agencies – thus ensuring effective management of a two-way selling process – and to facilitate media budget planning, i.e. establish budgets available across different media and competition.

Inclusive in the software are features such as customer profiling, prospects, agencies, media buying houses, and customer interaction history. SalesLogix is also touted for its proposal generator, sales target management, efficiency in information on deals, and management reports.

    In India, vertical CRM is the way to go. Successful CRM implementations in India have been in the Telecom sector.

    As the founder of K-Serve CRM products developed in India we find that vertical solutions help in penetration of an otherwise difficult market, that is opening up now.
