Siemens Business Services representatives today announced the reception of three orders from Bankgesellschaft Berlin AG / Landesbank Berlin AG to provide IT services, and look after the CRM system and printers. An IT service provider to the bank since 2001, there was little surprise in the choice; after all, said Bankgesellschaft Berline organization director Stefan Traegler, “Siemens Business Services …has helped us greatly in optimizing our internal service processes.”

The Siemens subsidiary will see to the voice and data networks, servers, desktop and telecommunications systems through 2011. This will also involve Siemens Business Services testing the use of new hardware and software components in Siemens IT laboratories and running a user help desk at the bank itself. In addition, Siemens Business Services will run the Siebel-based CRM system for Bankgesellschaft Berlin / Landesbank Berlin, servicing printers, copiers and other machinery.

Says Traegler, “We remain confident for the future that Siemens’ innovations and ideas will help bring us further forward.” Siemens Business Services is now among the top ten CRM providers worldwide, with approximately 39,000 employees and EUR 5.4 billion posted in sales for fiscal year 2005.
