Interactive Intelligence in Irvine

Interactive Intelligence Inc., developer of business communications software, has opened its new regional office in Irvine, California to provide service and sales support for its contact center automation and enterprise IP telephony software solutions. The Irvine office is part of Interactive’s ongoing strategy to add education centers around the globe.

The new Irvine office will initially be staffed by sales, support, and professional services specialists from both Interactive Intelligence and Vonexus, a company subsidiary responsible for its enterprise IP communications solutions. The 3,700 square foot facility is equipped with high-tech training and demonstration centers.

The Irvine branch will tend to the trends of Interactive’s burgeoning West Coast clientele. Of the company’s 2,000-plus customers, more than 100 are located in California, including California Credit Union, California First National Bancorp, Fidelity National Financial, County of Orange, IndyMac Bank, National Pen, National Recreational Properties, PETCO, Ronco Inventions and Trader Joe’s.

Interactive Intelligence plans to open a regional office in Washington, D.C. by the end of 2006 to provide local service and sales support to customers and resellers east of the Mississippi. In addition to its existing training facility located at its headquarters in Indianapolis, Ind., Interactive Intelligence also offers education services at its Asia Pacific headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, and via local training partners headquartered throughout Australia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South Africa. Interactive Intelligence also has plans to expand its existing U.K. headquarters and Amsterdam sales office next year.
