Green Beacon Solutions, a CRM, ERP and marketing automation services provider has announced a partnership with Pyxis Mobile, a provider of enterprise wireless software for CRM.

By leveraging Pyxis Mobile’s mPlatform technology, Green Beacon Solutions seeks to deliver key CRM functionality to mobile devices “from a variety of leading CRM solutions.” Green Beacon Solutions plans to leverage mPlatform in the financial services, pharmaceutical, high-tech and media relations sectors.

The Pyxis mPlatform Alliance program is designed to offer partner companies the ability to deploy wireless applications to their customers. The mPA program “provides partners with the tools to maximize business opportunities, meet customer demand for wireless enterprise data access, and achieve market leadership.”

The Pyxis deal marks another nice move by the former start-up, as last week Green Beaconers launched of a customized CRM solution for DirectNET which seeks to enhance the company’s customer service offering and improve internal workflow processes; in that project, Green Beacon worked with Onyx CRM software and Cognos Business Intelligence software to create a customized solution for DirectNET’s needs, including automated lead routing, custom order tracking and management, and automated dashboard reporting on key business metrics.

Pyxis Mobile’s mPlatform provides industry-tailored wireless applications; among Pyxis Mobile clientele are AIM, Manulife, Deutsche Asset Management, IXIS Asset Management Advisors, Pioneer, Goldman Sachs Group, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, L.P., New York Life Investment, Henderson Global, Sun Life Financial, and Oppenheimer.

Watertown, Mass.-based Green Beacon Solutions is a CRM, ERP and marketing automation services provider, and a partner of Microsoft and Onyx. A small firm no more, the legend of Green Beacon began in 2001 with US $3,000 in start-up capital. Today, the firm boasts sales of US $8 million and employs fifty.
