The StrikeIron is hot (and clean)

The well named StrikeIron Inc., best known as provider of the Web Services Marketplace, today announced that it has partnered with ActivePrime. Under terms of the agreement, ActivePrime will integrate StrikeIron’s email verification into their CleanCRM Data cleansing software tool.

The email verification tool is part of the eternal war on spam in CRM databases, as the program should instant determine the validity of any email address or domain name. CleanCRM is part of the CleanData Toolset and is designed for a company’s complete standardization of content/data.

The program seeks to allow organizations to reduce the duplication of CSV files. APIs are available to hook directly to salesforce.com, Siebel CRM OnDemand, and SalesLogix .

The folks over at ActivePrime also announced their web services-based "Content Initiative," with a stated goal of providing web-based customer data verification and enhancement capabilities to the marketplace. Built on ActivePrime’s Data Conditioning Framework, the new StrikeIron access and integration modules are to allow for transfer of the web services data into salesforce.com, Siebel CRM On Demand and SalesLogix. With the first new module, CleanCRM users can theoretically seamlessly access an email verification mechanism without separate data unloading and reloading.

The StrikeIron integration modules will be available starting in November 2006 and the company will be featuring them at the salesforce.com Dreamforce Conference in San Francisco this week.
