One Voice in the wilderness

One IP Voice gets more worthy of attention all the time, closing out the business week with a couple of key deals certain to fatten coffers.

Last week, One IP Voice, Inc. announced that its OIPV Corp., a national provider of intelligent IP powered business communication solutions, had reached an agreement with Intrado Inc., a global provider of integrated data and telecommunications solutions and a leading provider of VoIP E9-1-1 services, to market VoIP E9-1-1 services.

Under terms of the agreement, OIPV will market Intrado V9-1-1 Services to Small- to mid-sized enterprises; larger enterprises supporting a dispersed and mobile workforce; and IP powered communications service providers.

OIPV seeks to provide comprehensive E9-1-1 coverage in an IP based environment for prospective and existing business customers. The OIPV solution is designed and developed to offer delivery of diverse capabilities, leveraging E9-1-1 management applications and voice over intelligent protocol platform to track physical locations of phone users inside the premise and mobile users providing local information services to public safety answering points. OIPV’s solution theoretically enables mobile workforces to utilize ubiquitous and secure access.

And just getting on the wire under the wire was a second agreement, this one between OIPV Corp. and telecommunications industry solutions provider MicroCorp. Under the terms of the agreement, MicroCorp will offer One IP Voice hosted VoIP products and services to its North American distribution channel, a clientele base of some 1300-plus independent partners.

The One IP Voice portfolio of products and services includes turn-key Hosted IP Centrex and IP trunking services bundled with One IP Net QOS enabled private IP customer access nationwide, long distance calling, on net calling, local area calling, V-911 capabilities, wide area networking, data connectivity and customer premise equipment solutions.

One IP Voice Inc. was formerly known as Farmstead Telephone Group, Inc. and is a nationwide provider of business telecommunications equipment and IP telephony products and services. Operations are conducted through the Farmstead Telephone Group Division and the OIPV Corp Division. OIPV Corp is a wholly-owned subsidiary of One IP, providing carrier-based hosted VoIP solutions to small- and mid-sized businesses.

Founded in 1986, MicroCorp Inc. is a telecommunications convergence company that provides multi-vendor solutions. MicroCorp solutions and products are distributed nationally via a network of over 1,500 employees, agents, system integrators and VARs.
