SugarCRM Launches European Headquarters in Dublin, Ireland

As Momentum for SugarCRM Grows In Germany, France, Netherlands, UK and Ireland

DUBLIN, Ireland (March 05, 2007) –

SugarCRM Inc. the world’s leading provider of commercial open source customer relationship management (CRM) software, today announced the opening of Sugar Europe located in Dublin. Based on growing demand across Europe, the new office will foster close relationships with SugarCRM’s customers, partners and user communities across the continent. Clint Oram, a co-founder of SugarCRM, will serve as General Manager of Sugar Europe and will lead the European team from Dublin, Ireland.
Growing Open Source Demand in Europe

Over the last three years, SugarCRM has seen widespread adoption across Europe with its strongest growth in France, Germany, Ireland, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Currently, about one-quarter of SugarCRM’s commercial customers are located in Europe and more than 30 percent of Sugar Open Source downloads take place in Europe.

Customer and Partner Success

Synolia, the first SugarCRM partner, located in Lyon, France, has successfully deployed SugarCRM to a wide range of companies in France. Most recently, Synolia implemented Sugar Professional for 140 employees of Corona Medical, a provider of furnishings and equipment to hospitals and health centers, located in Tours, France. Synolia tied SugarCRM into Corona’s ERP and eCommerce system to deliver an end-to-end CRM solution. “We wanted a solution that could adapt to the specific needs of our company,” said Laurent Guenier, IT manager at Corona Medical. “SugarCRM’s architecture allows us to develop complementary modules more easily than with a proprietary CRM and to tie it into our existing systems.”

2007 Plans

In addition to hiring an experienced local team in Dublin during 2007, Sugar Europe will focus on delivering full localization of support materials for the French and German markets, expanding the Sugar On-Demand infrastructure, and raising awareness of the benefits of the commercial open source market in Europe.
