CRM Magazine Names Zoho as a Leader in the Small Business Suite CRM Category

PLEASANTON, Cali (August 21, 2008) –

-Zoho today announced that CRM magazine recognized the company as a market leader in the Small Business Suite CRM category based on its low-cost and full-featured Zoho CRM application as well as the company’s innovative market strategy. The magazine also honored Sridhar Vembu, CEO of AdventNet and Zoho, as one of the most influential leaders in the CRM market today.

“Zoho’s arrival on the scene has already made an impact, as reflected in its spot on our Small Business Suite CRM leaderboard,” said Joshua Weinberger, managing editor for CRM magazine. “The company has ambitious plans, and an even more ambitious business model, properly suited to the CRM needs of the very small business. Watching as Zoho expands its efforts will be one of the more interesting stories of the coming year. The vision and transparency offered by CEO Sridhar Vembu seem to be the foundation of these efforts, and Vembu’s commitment to a no-marketing-for-now business strategy is an innovative approach worth watching. Zoho has made some of the biggest names in the industry sit up and take notice, and that’s why we’re honored to name Vembu one of the magazine’s 2008 Influential Leaders.”

Zoho CRM, which launched its Enterprise Edition earlier this year, is part of Zoho’s Business suite that provides companies of all sizes with affordable and reliable online tools to help them run their businesses. In addition to Zoho CRM, the suite includes a wide set of business-focused applications including Zoho Creator, Zoho People and Zoho Invoice.

“At Zoho, we are witnessing firsthand the growing need for affordable, on-demand CRM applications as evidenced by the rapid adoption of Zoho CRM over the past year,” said Raju Vegesna, Zoho evangelist. “By running a lean organization focused on engineering, we are able to consistently produce full-featured applications like Zoho CRM, while keeping our internal costs down. As a result, we can pass the savings on to our customers which is a key priority for Zoho.”

Vegesna added, “We are honored to win these CRM magazine awards and are committed to meeting the IT needs of SMBs and large organizations with our broad suite of collaboration and productivity apps.”
