China Telecom Selects Amdocs to Support New CDMA Operations

Amdocs to provide billing and customer relationship management (CRM) systems for China Telecom Jilin and Tianjin

ST. LOUIS and BEIJING (January 14, 2009) –

Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the leading provider of customer experience systems today announced that it has implemented a new business support system (BSS) for Tianjin Telecom and Jilin Telecom subsidiaries of China Telecom Corporation (NYSE:CHA), and completed the migration of existing CDMA users from China Unicom. China Telecom acquired the CDMA network and operations from China Unicom in June 2008.

Amdocs provides billing, CRM, mediation and partner management capabilities for the CDMA mobile operations, as well as broadband and fixed-line operations. Amdocs delivered solution design, software delivery, systems integration, local project management and IT infrastructure support services, and has migrated all former Unicom CDMA customers to meet China Telecom’s deadline of December 2008.
