CGI’s AMS in LA

CGI Group Inc. announced today that its web-based AMS Advantage human resources management system was selected by Los Angeles County, California, for the next phase of its enterprise resource planning system project. Even more impressively, CGI scored a six-year contract worth up to $84 million.

CGI and Los Angeles County first entered into partnership on an integrated ERP system using AMS Advantage Financial Management, Performance Budgeting and Procurement in 2004. Phase 1 of the project was completed, reportedly on time and on budget, in July 2005.

Phase 2 includes materials management and procurement, budget preparation and Health Services Department time collection processing.
