Pivotal CRM for Julius Baer

CRM solutions provider Pivotal Corporation announced that investment advisory firm Julius Baer Investment Management LLC has selected Pivotal CRM software to manage relationships with clients and third-party contacts with a single centralized corporate data repository for information. Both companies hope the agreement can lead to greater relationships between the two companies, as both as subsidiaries: Pivotal of CDC Corporation and Julius Baer of the like-titled conglomerate.

Julius Baer Investment Management is using the CRM solution within its Institutional Asset Management Group in the hopes of ensuring consistency in client service. Summing up the feeling of many a company making the big switch to CRM and unified systems these days, Julius Baer Investment Management LLC chief executive officer Tony Williams said that “Utilizing a centralized CRM system is essential.” Pivotal CRM for financial services seeks to meet the needs of institutional asset management firms requiring one corporate repository for information and which cannot rely upon disparate systems in order to meet regulatory requirements.

Speaking for company interests, Pivotal financial service managing director Jason Rushforth stated that “Pivotal is excited to be working with them to implement a long-term strategy for proactively managing information.” Pivotal CRM applications are touted as offering rich functionality, a highly flexible application platform, a full application suite, quality customization abilities, and low cost. Among the firm’s 1,800 licensees past and present are AvMed Health Plans, Farm Credit Services of America, Premera Blue Cross, Qiagen, Sharp Electronics Corporation, WCI Communities, and WellCare Health Plans. CDC Software, self-promoted as “The Customer-Driven Company,” is the software unit of CDC Corporation and specializes in software solutions for mid-sized enterprises.

The CDC Software product suite includes Pivotal CRM; c360 CRM add-ons; IMI warehouse management and order management; development tools for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform; Ross enterprise resource planning; Ross supply chain management; and Platinum China HR human resources and business analytics solutions.

Their industry-specific solutions are have reached arenas such as the financial services, health care, home building, manufacturing, real estate, retail distribution, and wholesale industries. CDC Corporation in general focuses on enterprise software, business services, internet media and mobile applications. CDC boasts approximately 1,800 employees in fourteen countries.
