PLEASANTON, Calif. (September 29, 2010) – Helping people work online, Zoho today announced that it has contextually integrated several of its online applications with Google Apps. Users can now work with Zoho Invoice, Zoho Projects and Zoho CRM information in the context of a Google App

For Gmail, Zoho created the Zoho Invoice Contextual Gadget, Zoho Projects Contextual Gadget and Zoho CRM Contextual Gadget to let users view and act on relevant Zoho Invoice, Zoho Projects and Zoho CRM information while reading their Gmail messages.

“We’re committed to contextual integration because it makes life easier for the user,” said Raju Vegesna, Zoho evangelist.

The Contextual Integration of Zoho and Google

The Zoho Contextual Gadgets for Gmail take advantage of a new Gmail API, which lets third-party applications intelligently display relevant information to users as they read their Gmail messages. Users can then interact with the data from within the Gmail UI. Zoho CRM, Zoho Invoice and Zoho Projects are the first of the Zoho applications to be contextually integrated with Gmail.
