Parature One of Top 50 Best Places to Work in Greater Washington, D.C. for Second Consecutive Year

Washington Business Journal Names Company One of Best Employers in Region

McLean, VA (April 04, 2006) – Parature, provider of award-winning, on demand customer support software, announced today that the company is being honored as one of the 50 ‘Best Places to Work in Greater Washington, D.C.’ by the Washington Business Journal for the second consecutive year. Being acknowledged in the medium size company category, Parature will be honored as one of the top ‘2006 Best Place to Work’ at a breakfast reception on Friday May 12, 2006 at the Ritz Carlton hotel Tyson’s Corner, being hosted by the Washington Business Journal, Monster.com, Reznick Group and Quantum Market Research.

With high marks across the board in areas of management team strength, opportunity for advancement, workplace morale, employment benefits and value of employee skills, Parature employees made their views on the company known through confidential surveys conducted by independent firm Quantum Market Research during February and March 2006. Upon totaling all surveys submitted, Parature was named as one of the top 50 small, medium and large-sized employers in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Parature is one of 10 companies in the medium-sized company category.

Employees noted the company’s fun atmosphere and creative approaches to traditional workplace activities as two differentiators Parature maintains over other companies. Holding recent corporate quarterly meetings at Dave & Buster’s Sports Café and AMS Movie Theaters, establishing ‘Five Guys Fridays’ when award-winning food from Five Guys Burgers & Fries restaurants is enjoyed at no cost, weekly ‘ParaHoops’ basketball games, company-sponsored paintball tournaments and more add a level of interaction that makes working collaboratively day-to-day with co-workers very comfortable, enjoyable and productive.

Company participation in and sponsorship of activities giving back to the greater Washington, D.C. community was also rated highly by employees. During September 2005 Parature employees donated hundreds of dollars worth of school supplies for students and teachers at PR Harris Learning Center, one of Washington D.C.’s most deserving and neediest schools. In October 2005 Parature sponsored a team of 15 employees who participated in the Washington D.C. AIDS Walk, raising over a thousand dollars for AIDS research.

“It is very gratifying to be honored as a top workplace in metropolitan Washington, D.C. for two consecutive years, particularly considering the phenomenal business community we are a part of,” stated Duke Chung, CEO, Parature. “From the beginning our management team has resolved to make our company successful, while simultaneously encouraging our employee’s personal and professional success. This strategy has been one key to our achievements thus far and will remain part of Parature’s culture for the long-term.”
