McLean, VA (March 07, 2005) – Parature, a leading provider of award winning on demand support software, announced today the appointment of Lee Wang as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Lee will be responsible for accelerating Parature’s sales initiative, managing sales personnel, as well as diversifying sales efforts into new territories.

“With over 200 clients like ATI, Office Depot and Rothschild, Parature has demonstrated a need in the market for an on demand support solution that integrates multiple support modules such as a knowledge base, ticketing, real-time chat, surveys and contact management system into one complete support solution. With its depth of features, market strategy and commitment to their clients, I am confident that I am joining a team that is and will continue to revolutionize the support industry,” said Wang.

Prior to joining Parature, Lee co-founded CourseInfo LLC, which was acquired by Blackboard Inc. During his tenure, Blackboard grew from a start up attempting to gain market share to a growing public company that dominates its market. “Lee has experienced the many phases of a growing software company. His insight and direction has already become a vital element to the growth of our company,” noted Ching-Ho Fung, Chairman and President of Parature.

“2005 promises to be a year of enormous growth for Parature,” said Duke Chung, CEO at Parature. “With Parature’s superior customer support product, along with Lee’s leadership and sales experience, we are confident that our market share will increase and continually distinguish us as the online support software industry leader.”
