Parature Names Elaine Harvey Vice President of Engineering

Eighteen-year software development veteran brings solid track record of management success

Vienna, VA (August 14, 2006) – Parature, provider of award-winning, on demand customer support software, announced today the appointment of Elaine Harvey as Vice President of Engineering. Mrs. Harvey will be responsible for the management of Parature’s software development efforts, including guiding product architecture and execution of design, as well as overseeing personnel and continuing the strategic expansion of the development organization. Prior to joining Parature, Mrs. Harvey was the director of the Secure Software Development Practice within the NetSec (now Verizon Business) Government Solutions Group, a leading secure software developer within the U.S. intelligence community. During her tenure with NetSec, Mrs. Harvey co-created two patent-pending inventions: a wireless intrusion detection system and a secure one-way network bridging technology. Prior to NetSec, Mrs. Harvey held senior software architecture and programming positions with several high tech companies including Ubizen, provider of managed security software for corporate networks.
