Parature and Five Guys Restaurant Partner for Workplace Morale Initiative

McLean, VA (April 24, 2006) – Parature, provider of award-winning, on demand customer support software, announced today that it has partnered with Five Guys restaurant, rated by Zagat’s guide and voted #1 Burger by Washingtonian Magazine for six consecutive years, for a new workplace morale initiative for Parature employees. The first Friday of every month is ‘Five Guys Friday’ in which the Tyson’s Corner Center location provides their famous burgers and fries to the employees of Parature at no cost to them.

“As a growing company, we wanted to find a fun way to bring the team together on a regular basis and encourage everyone to informally share information and get to know each other better, particularly the new staff members,” said Duke Chung, CEO of Parature. “It’s very important that our employees are recognized and rewarded for their dedication, and that they know their contributions are valued. It’s not only important to our management team personally, but it’s enabled the company to maintain high employee satisfaction and retention rates. Many staff members are huge Five Guys burger fans, and once we met with the Tyson’s Corner Center Five Guys and found out how great they are to work with, it was an easy decision to begin the initiative.”

“When Parature approached us with their idea for ‘Five Guys Fridays’, we immediately recognized it as a win-win relationship,” said Ed Pizzarello, Operating Partner, Five Guys, Tyson’s Corner Center. “Acknowledgement of staff dedication and hard work is a big part of our company culture, so participating in this type of program is rewarding for us too. It’s been very gratifying getting acquainted with other members of the local business community and we look forward to a long and valuable friendship with Parature.”

Parature has instituted many activities and programs for its employees to both maintain high employee morale and to encourage community service, which helped to earn the company Washington Business Journal ‘Best Places to Work’ awards in 2005 and 2006. In September 2005, Parature organized a donation drive to provide school supplies to PR Harris Learning Center in Washington, D.C., and in October 2005 employees raised over a thousand dollars for AIDS research while participating in the Washington, D.C. AIDS Walk. In addition, Parature holds quarterly events to update staff on company activities, which are always held in fun, relaxed locations that encourage the team to interact and informally get to know other staff members.
