NetSuite outperforms Salesforce.com for Learning.com

San Mateo, Calif.-based NetSuite released some early results from Portland, Ore.-based Learning.com in order to display evidence of their product’s success. NetSuite press material claims that within six months Learning.com has achieved results in acceleration of its business processes by 1500% and looks to double its business over 2005.

Learning.com replaced its combination of Salesforce.com and QuickBooks applications with NetSuite at the beginning of the year, assimilating both applications. This standardized its entire front and back office operations on NetSuite to the single integrated software application that promises to run from creation of a lead to post-sales service. Learning.com reportedly required no extra personnel or personnel costs in making the switch. As a software company, reads company press material, Learning.com needed a software application to manage its complex revenue recognition process and billing schedules while ensuring compliance.
