Mother knows best

Everyone, it is said, has a momma. Today, Kintera Inc. announced that one of the largest legions of mothers has taken on their CRM. La Leche League International, an international breastfeeding information and support group, has selected Kintera’s social constituent relationship management system for its core member and donor management needs.

ooTao Inc., an identity and data interoperability infrastructure developer, was also in on the deal and will participate with Kintera personnel in jointly integrating La Leche League International’s open source authentication and data sharing standards with Kintera’s social CRM platform, Kintera Sphere. The project seeks to provide distributed open source authentication and data interoperability, including single sign-on capabilities for members to access information across multiple systems.

Kintera’s comprehensive social CRM system enables organizations in driving all interactions based on comprehensive knowledge of constituents and unites their online and offline experiences into one database. The system is built on Kintera CRM and comprised of Donor Management, Member Management, Prospect Management, Participant Management and Volunteer Management solutions.

Founded in 1956, La Leche League International is a non-profit organization and stands as the world’s most extensive resource for breastfeeding and related information. The organization provides information, education and support in 61 countries. Monthly, some 300,000 mothers are assisted by volunteer advisors. The organization distributes more than three million publications each year.
