Maximizer wins one over salesforce.com

Representatives of customer relationship management and contact management solutions provider Maximizer Software Inc. were all too pleased to announce that Palo Alto, Calif.-based portal and content integration platform provider Kapow Technologies, has selected Maximizer Enterprise. More to the point, Maximizer saw the deal as a personal company triumph over Salesforce.com.

Maximizer no doubt plans to wave the agreement in the faces of Salesforce.com folks, supplied with quotes like Kapow CEO Glenn Hasen’s “When stacked up against Maximizer Enterprise, Salesforce.com just doesn’t deliver the value we require.” The high-tech innovator chose Maximizer Enterprise to support its aggressive growth targets citing the system’s integration capabilities, scalability and very attractive total cost of ownership.

Kapow Technologies bases its own offerings on its web integration platform, which seeks to enable flexible and fast integration of content, data and applications into portals, content management systems, applications, databases and/or web services. A key component of Kapow Technologies centers on mobile access to a comprehensive customer information database.
