MapLinXWeb launched

Last week, Microsoft CRM 3.0 spatial analysis plug-in MapLinXWeb was launched by Linxoft Solutions Incoporated. The plug-in allows users of CRM to use location-based intelligence in analysis. The press release announcing the launch touted the plug-in’s virtues as yet another application that can be incorporated in Microsoft Dynamics, a CRM system rapidly growing in popularity.

Linxoft Solutions Inc. sales manager Jerry O’Sullivan was quoted within the release, citing an estimate that claims seventy-five to eighty-five percent of all business data is tied in with geographical data. With MapLinXWeb, Linxoft Solutions hopes to foster trend locating in businesses by way of the spatial analysis features the program provides. Microsoft MapPoint Web Service serves as a hosting platform for MapLinXWeb; MapPoint Web Service currently acts many functions involving location functionality such as providing directions, maps and proximity information.

Via MapLinXWeb, users may route between CRM contacts in order to more proper implement marketing campaigns; to do so, user needn’t even leave the map interface.
