Just the Factiva, ma’am

Factiva representatives today introduced Factiva SalesWorks for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 for Microsoft certified partners participating in the Factiva Partner Program. Factiva SalesWorks is a global collection of company, industry and executive news and information culled from Factiva owners Dow Jones and Reuters. PR for Factiva SalesWorks’ integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 promises an easier way for salespeople to find and understand information critical to the sales process.

Microsoft gold-certified partner Quilogy has become the first national systems integrator to offer Factiva SalesWorks for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, and Quilogy has reported decent results thus far. "Marketplace reception of Factiva SalesWorks has been very strong," said Alan Groh, Quilogy chief technology officer. With Factiva, sales professionals have a number of data manipulation possibilities — viewing snapshot of a particular company or executive, identification and qualification of prospects, provision of executive details, relevant competitor analysis, and news coverage – essentially from directly within Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0. Factiva SalesWorks can also be integrated into environments such as Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003, Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services, Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 and Microsoft Office Word 2003.

Factiva, a Dow Jones and Reuters company, provides business news and information together with content delivery tools and services. Factiva’s base of over 10,000 media sources includes Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Dow Jones and Reuters newswires, the Associated Press, Reuters Fundamentals, and D&B company profiles. Factiva has an XML-based and web services-enabled technology platform to provide access to the content and delivers directly from the Microsoft Office or other everyday job-specific applications.
