Invisible CRM? Smart.

A new product launch comes out of Moscow today, as the excellently named desktop applications provider Invisible CRM released Smart Folder, a document synchronisation and delivery system designed to provide transparent access to the contents of EMC Documentum repositories.

Smart Folder seeks to enable automated organisation and sharing of all corporate documents on any computer, allowing file access whether users are on- or offline. Smart Folder purports to allow users to organise, manage and work with files locally, while maintaining online and desktop file repositories. Smart Folder is based on what Invisible company execs call the “Windows folder metaphor.”

Local users in theory can copy files, move files, save e-mail messages and attachments just as in Microsoft Windows. Invisible CRM itself is software designed to integrate Salesforce.com and other CRM systems with theoretically any common desktop environment. Invisible boasts solutions for Outlook and Lotus, and features real time alerts and business news.
