CRM Bloing all over England

The East of England Development Agency (a.k.a. Eeda) announced their adoption of a £1.8 million (approximately US $3.44 million) customer relationship management system to tie together its Business Link Organisations (a.k.a. “Blo”).

The agency will employ the CRM system in “holding information for all of the Blo’s allowing information to be shared across the region.” That’s what it says here.

With the CRM system, Eeda hopes to improve the quality of support service it delivers to businesses in East Anglia. “Ultimately,” says executive director of enterprise Jody Chatterjee, the central CRM system “will help Eeda to continue to drive sustainable economic growth and regeneration across the east of England.”

The system, supplied by Anite, will also provide a new link between Eeda and the Learning and Skills Council, who will use it to access information on training and business services from approved suppliers.
