Convergys expands business in Asia

Convergys Corporation, a provider of customer care, human resources, and billing services, announced the continued expansion of its human resources business process outsourcing business in the Asia Pacific region. Convergys has recently opened or expanded service centers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Bangalore, India; Dalian, China; and Singapore, which provide business process outsourcing services to more than 150 clients.

Convergys’ Asia Pacific service centers seek to provide a broad scope of human resources business process outsourcing services such as benefits and leave administration; education and performance management; recruiting and staffing administration; and payroll administration for clients from multiple industries. Convergys also recently announced the opening of a service center in Budapest, Hungary, bringing the total number of Convergys’ service centers to twelve. Convergys Corporation provides customer care, human resources, and billing services, delivering outsourced solutions, consulting services, and software support.

Industries in which Convergys works include communications, financial services, technology, and consumer products. Cincinnati-headquartered Convergys has more than 65,000 employees in 72 customer contact centers, three data centers, and other facilities on four continents. The Convergys clientele base boasts customers in seventy-one countries and of thirty-four languages.
