SugarCRM Makes the iPad a Little Sweeter
SugarCRM is currently in the process of developing a Sugar iPad application-the first ever native CRM iPad application to be exact. The app is a customizable CRM solution that uses iPad’s distinctive user experience features. The Sugar software was developed on Appcelerator Titanium, which is a service that allows web-developers to develop iPad applications that use native performance, native iPad user interfaces, and native accessibility to the iPad’s internal functionality. Appcelerator gives developers the ability to build on the iPad at a small fraction of the development time and price by coding in Objective-C.
SugarCRM’s iPad application is designed to fulfill each user’s particular requirements while on-the-go. The Sugar iPad app features:
Quick view display- Shows immediate opportunities, contacts, and meetings
Easy to customize modules screen- Drag-and-drop modules, as you see fit
Data synchronization- Retain information between the iPad and the SugarCRM cloud
Easy drill-down- Access critical information while travelling
Users will enjoy Sugar iPad app functions that are distinctive from the iPhone app, like split views and popovers. The iPad app can also be adjusted to view information as a portrait or landscape as well. SugarCRM is hoping to launch the Sugar for iPad in August 2010.
